Sue Cosley’s experience and master’s degrees in both human resource management and counseling psychology have enabled her to understand and appreciate both sides of the hiring table.
Sue started her career in human resources in Columbus, Ohio. Shortly after relocating to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, she owned and operated a resume writing business, based on her experience in human resources and her desire to help job applicants succeed. After three successful years as a resume writer, she then relocated to Minneapolis to pursue a master’s degree in counseling psychology (emphasis in career counseling) from St. Mary’s University. Sue completed internships at both Hennepin Technical College and the UMN School of Public Health.
Sue is the author of several recent career-related articles, and she has presented numerous workshops relating to the job search process and the special needs of gifted adults. Her new business, Career and Business Services, offers tools and services for career services offices, gifted adults, and those who want to manage their own careers. Sue is a current member of MCDA and CPAD, and she is a Career Counselor for WomenVenture.
Sue is a member of several local music ensembles, including Minnesota Brass Inc., Minne-Brass, and the UMN Concert Bands. |
